What do you need to begin
selling and exchanging cylinders?
- You need a location for the cylinder cabinet a minimum
of five feet from the door and on curb or protected from
vehicle traffic.
- The cylinder cabinet and the cylinders are placed on
consignment.
- As the cylinders are replaced full ones for empty ones,
you will be billed for the full replacements.
- Each retail dealer is set on a monthly route system to
check cabinets for empties and make replacements.
What are you responsible for?
- You are responsible for cylinders stolen from the
cabinet.
- You must furnish a 20 lb fire extinguisher.
- You are responsible for cylinders that are not propane
cylinders or are visibly defective.
